Frequently asked questions

Is there a free account?

Yes — QuickPunch offers a free account that includes 1 active project and up to 25 punchlist items, with 1 manager login (the owner). No credit card required to sign up. Upgrade to a paid plan anytime to unlock more projects, items, and manager logins.

What happens when I hit the free account limits?

Once you reach 1 project or 25 items on the free plan, you can upgrade to Solo, Foreman, or Crew at any time to keep adding projects and items without interruption. Completed and archived items stay searchable and do not count toward your active-item limit.

How do manager logins work?

Each plan includes a set number of manager logins, counting the account owner: Free and Solo include 1 (the owner), Foreman includes 2 (the owner plus one additional manager), and Crew includes 3 (the owner plus two). The owner can invite and remove managers from the dashboard. Each manager gets their own login and sees only the company’s projects. Managers share the company’s project and item allowances — adding a manager does not multiply those limits.

Do subcontractors need a manager login?

No. Subcontractors receive a completion link by email or text to view their assigned items and submit completion photos. They never create an account or log in, and they do not count toward your manager seat limit.

Do completed or archived items count against my limit?

No. Active items (open or sent) count toward your plan’s active-item limit. Completed and archived items remain searchable so you keep your full history, but they do not count toward the limit. Archive items you no longer need active to free up space without losing the record.

Can I cancel a paid plan anytime?

Yes. Cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You keep full access until the end of your billing period. After cancellation, your account returns to the free tier.

What trades does QuickPunch support?

QuickPunch works for general contractors, electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, painters, property managers, and real estate agents — any trade that runs a punchlist or walkthrough checklist.

Does QuickPunch work on mobile?

Yes. QuickPunch is fully mobile-optimized so you can log items, take photos, and dispatch to subs right from the job site on any phone or tablet.

How does subcontractor dispatch work?

Assign an item to a subcontractor and tap Dispatch. QuickPunch sends them an email (and optional SMS) with their specific items, photos, due dates, and a direct link to mark each one complete.
